Perma-Chink Cedar Wash is a ready-to-use, surface prep cleaner formulated for Western Red Cedar, Redwood, Walnut and Mahogany, wood species with high levels of wood extractives and resin oils. Cedar Wash is designed to remove surface resin oils and high concentrations of water-soluble wood extractions, as well as dirt, grease, grime, pollen, and surface stains without harming the wood.

The resin oils and high concentrations of water-soluble wood extractions need to be removed because they could interfere with the adhesion of Lifeline exterior stains or Lifeline Prelude primer/sealer. Cedar Wash contains an aggressive detergent package for efficient cleaning of the wood surface. Cedar Wash will not harm finishes that are in good condition, and is safe to use on chinking and sealants.

Application temperature: 40° F to 90° F
Application method: Garden pump sprayer
Safety glasses or goggles and rubber gloves
Special instructions: Apply from bottom-up; rinse from top-down
Rinse surface thoroughly
Clean up: Use water to clean up any spilled Cedar Wash
Soap and water for hands and exposed skin
Coverage rate: 175-225 sq. ft. per gallon
