Perma-Chink Sure Shine is a premium polyurethane interior clear finish that is designed for finishing and protecting wood floors and any other interior wood surfaces where a clear, durable, scuff-resistant finish is desired. Sure Shine is the perfect choice when you want a deep, clear finish using fewer coats.

Since Sure Shine is water-based and fast drying, multiple coats can be applied in a single day. Sure Shine can be used to re-coat older oil-based floor finishes. Sure shine cures to a smooth, hard surface that resists scuffing and abrasion, and prevents discolorations from water and most household cleaners and chemicals. Sure Shine is available in Gloss and Satin sheens.

Application Guide:

 

Where to use:                                Interior wood floors or any other interior wood surfaces

Stain type:                                      Water-based

Sheen:                                             Gloss or Satin

Coats:                                              3 (for new or worn wood)

                                                          If desired, additional coats will add luster and depth to the finish

Surface prep:                                 Clean and dry; free of mold or mildew; never use steel wool

Application temperature:           40° F to 90° F

Application method:                    Synthetic bristle brush, foam brush or applicator pad

                                                          Airless sprayer with back brushing may also be used

Special instruction:                       After 1st coat, lightly sand with fine sandpaper or buffing brush

Clean up:                                        Soap and water

Drying time:                                   Dry to the touch in 1-2 hours

                                                         12 hours before light traffic

                                                         Full cure hardness in 1 to 2 weeks

Coverage:  1st coat:                      350-450 sq. ft. per gallon (on bare wood)

                    2nd coat:                     600-800 sq. ft. per gallon

                   3rd+ coats:                   700-900 sq. ft. per gallon
